PERSONAL REFLECCTION
- Yes I did. I think that because I had passed all the session working hard online. There weren't any day that I was not working.
2- DID YOU ORGANIZE YOUR WORK WEEK BY WEEK?
- Yes I did. The best example that I can give is the personal school diary which have all the weeks in it. It's good to say that the example of the videos too becasue it's the most boring thing and I did it all week by week.
3- WHAT WAS MORE DIFFICULT FOR YOU?
- I think that it was the oral presentation because in the middle of the exam's week we had to learn a dialogue.
4- WHAT DID YOU LEARN?
- I think that all that we learned in English was learned in the normal class. I think that in the "AULA D'IDIOMES" we had only to put all that we learned in different texts.
5- WHAT DO YOU NEED TO IMPROVE?
- I think that the only thing that I need to improve is a better connection because all the days we lose a lot of time only starting the internet.
in conclusion,
WHAT'S YOUR BEST ACTIVITY/ACTIVITIES THIS COURSE? (link it)
DID YOU LIKE WORKING IN THE LANGUAGE ROOM?

WRITINGS 4t 3d Term
A PARENT WORRIES
I've had a problem recently. My daughter Lindsay met a girl a month ago and he had a big argument. They've met a few times and I think that they are good friends. I think she's a big younger than her, but I'm not sure because she doesn't talk about her.
I'm worried because I thing that she is a bad influence. I think my daughter should be more open about their friends and I'd be much happier if she split up the relationship. But perhaps I shouldn't worry or interline because it can be worse.
I'd really like some advice because if I don't do something soon, I'll probably asked her out.
A DIARY ENTRY
Preperation:
1- What is your situation at the moment? One of my classmates, Alex, stole a CD.
2- Why did you lie? To protect him.
3- Was your friend right or wrong? Wrong
4- What would you have done? Lie to protect Alex
5- Do you think that this might happen again? I don't think so.
6- What would you do if you were in this situation again? I'll tell to the police in the first moment.
Writing:
Yesterday one of my friend of classmates, Alex, stole a CD from a very good shop of the center. He wanted to buy a new CD called "Jaula de Grillos" but when he was in the shop he saw that it was so expensive. He wasn't wearing money enough and he stole it. Then he said that he was in my hause to protect himself and I lied like him to protect Alex.
I think that my fried was wrong to slole a CD. I would have phoned his parents or the police. If I'd phone them, he would've been problems, but it would've the correct.
I don't think that this will happen again. The police know everything that it happened so he's probably learned the lesson now, but you never know with Alex.

The battle of sexes
Exams at school
Should people do exams to pass the course? In my opinion, the answer to this question mus be "Yes".
This is my opinion because I think that it's a perfect way to value the real intelligence of the people which want to have more studies that ESO. Whit those exams you can assess if you can be a doctor or a nurse.
It is positive too because the teacher can value the exact mark of the student. If we don't have exams, we can disagree about our mark because we can consider it's not objective. This is correct but It's sure that the attitude has to be included in the final mark because it's not the same the brain of one person than the brain of another person.
In addition an exam is always the reflection of your work. If you don't work in the subject you will fail the exam.
In conclusion, doing exams is positive from the teacher and for the student because they make the work of the teacher easier because they can value only with some exercises and for the student too because they tell you what you can be in the future.
OPINION ABOUT THE UNIT
I think that all the grammar of the unit was easy because we had studied it. The vocabulary was easy too. The think that I founded more difficult was the writing because. I had never wrote something like it. My mark of the writing was a 5.

THE FUTURE IS GOOD

NO PLACE TO SMOKE
New York, New York
Soon New York City's one million smokers may have nowhere to light up after city health commissioner Thomas Farley declared that he wants to ban smoking at city parks and public beaches. Smoking has been illegal in offices, train stations and indoor public places since 2003, and in restaurants and bars since 1995. According to the health department, 17 per cent of New Yorkers were smokers in 2008, down from 21 per cent in 2002.
CINEMA (3-D)
To say that 3-D movies have taken a long time to become accepted is an understatement: the first one (now lost) was produced in 1922, and for generations they have been considered as little more than a gimmick. All that changed in 2009, however, with a series of films including Up and Avatar. Whereas previous 3-D technology made objects leap forward from the screen, the new technology creates a depth-of-field similar to the way we see the real world. And as James Cameron proved with the 3-D realization of his alien planet in Avatar, the technology can now make actions scenes more visceral and the visual experience more beautiful. For the film industry, which has lost billions because of internet downloading, 3-D offers the public a good reason to see films in the cinema. One day, no doubt, this advantage will disappear as home screen become 3-D, too. But for the next few years the magic will be back where it is supposed to be - in the cinema.

Reflection
Most of you have been working very hard this term.
WELL DONE!!!!!

and now..REFLECTION ON YOUR PORTFOLIOS:
- What's the best activity for you to learn English? The Narnia project because I learned a lot of vocabulary of mitology and different vocabulary about wars or animals.
- What did you find more difficult? The cookie project. Why? Because all of the term we were doing thinks which don't have very difficult vocabulary like writings or speakings, the cookie project was easy too because the most difficult word was tortilla. The difficult thing about this project was really record your images and record your voice too. I'm not the best in new technologies.
- What's your favorite? I think that my favorite activity was The cookie project, it was hard to do it well but when I had it finished I feel very well because it's perfectly perfect.
- What's best blog in class in your opinion? Silvia's blog. I think that because it have a lot of information, it is perfectly organized by items and it's very visual too.
Write down your objectives for 3rd term.
In the 3rd term I don't want to be nervous like this term because I had to do the cookie project in the last two weeks. I have time but in the starters of the first week I feel very nervous because I don't know how many time I can use to finish it. I want to have better marks to because in this term the PHRASAL VERBS "kill" me and for this reason I don't have a very good mark.
Choose 1 activity in your portfolio that really helped you to improve.
As I said the Narnia project for the same reasons.

Megazine
End of Crocs Boulder, Colorado.
Crocs, the trendy footwear, is a victim of its own popularity. Last year the Colorado-based company fired 2000 employees (a third of its workforce) after losing more than $185 million.
In the past seven years 100 million pairs of the clogs were sold. But now there is a surplus, and with cheaper, fake Crocs on the market, bankruptcy seems inevitable.

NEWS UK
Police "steal" from cars
London British police are patrolling the chic West London borough of Richmond, looking for things to "steal"! Scotland Yard said that officers would be entering unlocked cars to remove items such as laptops and handbags to remind owners to keep their doors locked and take valuable items with them. A note would be left for the owners to explain what had happened. The exercise is meant to contain a big rise in thefts from inside cars in the borough this year.

PROFILE
My name's Sergi and I've been blind since I was three years old. When I was younger I had to learn special skills, like reading Braille with my fingers. I'm at High School now. I'm studying 4th of ESO.
Life is a bit different for me sometimes. For example, I can't drive so I always need a chauffeur. I can't see what I'm wearing so sometimes I go to the street with strange colors. I also have a special programme on my computer which is called screen-reader.
There are some things which annoy me. For example when people which are not blind talk about going the cinema or something like this because I can't go.

Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to complain about a problem that I had yesterday when I was arriving home.
I believe that is not serious that when I was in my house I saw a paper that says that we won't have electricity tomorrow. I think that the city council has to warn the people who live in the town before. It's important because some people could be outside and don't know it.
I would be very interested in knowing your plans for the future.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully

A DISCUSSION ESSAY
Internet and books
Internet have changed the world in the last 50 years. Before the internet was invented, find information used to be more difficult. These days it is easy to find information by internet.
Books, on the other hand, are simpler and they can give you information too, but they are more expensive and they can be boring.
All in all, I think that the internet is a better invention, because it is more useful and in the future it will be loaded of more information.

An article
Life is a bit different for me sometimes. For example, I can't meet friends because I need more time to study and do the homework. I can't do sports like football or basketball because I don't understand the couch and the rules too. I also have special helps from the govern because my treatment is so expensive.
There are some things which annoy me. People that say that I'm different, for example. If I'm everywhere and someone try to help me or watches to me rarely I feel different and I don't want this sensation.
A life story
My earliest memory is not very clear. We went to holiday in the south of spain and we were entering in a Camping. I remember that in the entrance there was a shop with a lot of toys. I also remember my first day at Casa Nostra school. That day I wore a black trausers and a red t-shirt wich was new.
I'm being at Casa Nostra school since 4 years. I've changed since I was young. I think that I like the most expensive clothes. When I finish secondary school, I'll probably study in Pere Alsius but I don't know what I'm going to study.

Today
Duncan Zuur, from Amsterdam, surprised residents and tourists by wakeboarding across St Mark's Square in Venice last autumn. The city was left under more than a meter of water, after its worst flooding since 1986.
TERMINATOR SOLDIERS
Bloomington, Indiana The US military has recruited a British robotics expert to help build robot soldiers that will not violate the Geneva Convention. "The question they want answered is whether we can build automated weapons that would conform to the laws of war," Colin Allen, a scientific philosopher at Indiana University told The Telegraph. Many scientists, however, say that it will be impossible to build robots that don't make mistakes.
AUSTRALIA
After making stylised films such as Moulin Rouge, Australian director Baz Luhrmann attempts a big love story with a dramatic historical setting - Australia in the Second World War. But the restult is not the Antipodean Titanic that he would like to be.
The tone mixes comedy, romance and drama. Nicole Kidman is not good at comedy, however, and the first thirty minutes of Australia is a painful experience in Which she tries too hard to be funny. She improves as the film becomes more serious, but the principal characters remain two-dimensional.
The best thing is Australia itself, but Luhrmann includes landscapes that are clearly computer generated.
Why call a film Australia and then show a fictional creation? That error offers a metaphor for everything that is wrong with this film- it is kitch pretending to be realism.

THE BEST BLOG OF 4 OF ESO OF THE LAST COURSE IN MY OPINION
After visit all the blogs of the last 4 of ESO in my opinion the best blog is the blog of Adam Harris. In his blog there is not a lot of decoration or extra points like a clock or his biography but his English it's obviously perfect.

Oral presentation
I think that you know somthing about him but I can tell more things.
He do this with his friends because he is the original king of Nottingham but "Juan sin tierra" (I don't found his name in English) kill his father and catches the castle and the village when Robbin Hood was in a combat. In the end of the history Robbin Hood kills "Juan de tierra" and all became like always, Robbin Hood is the king of Nottingham.
Any questions.

Learning reflections

In this second turn I learned to use the conditional time and I learned to use the snips too because after this second turn I can't use them. I think that I made all of my work because I think that record the writings it's optional.
Like always the work in the language room is so boring but in the same time is a bit interesting. But I think that the work in this year is better.
I liked to do the oral presentation because we can learn to speak and pronunciation too. It was interesting and easy too.

the fugitive (dialogue)
"I did not kill my wife!" Kimble said. He had Gerard's gun.
"That's not my problem, Kimble. Now give me..."
"Sir! Sir!" Poole shouted in the dark. "Are you there?"
For a second Gerard turned. Kimble turned and ran to the end of the small tunnel, but he suddenly stopped. Hundreds of metres below he saw the angry, white water of the Tennessee River.
"Kimble!" Gerard shouted. "Throw down the gun and come here! You can't get away!"
"I want to live," Kimble thought. "But I want to find Helen's Killer, too.". He turned back to the river below, ready to jump.
"Kimble! No!"Gerard shouted. "You'll kill yourself... Stop!... Kimble!
But he jumped- down, down into the cold, dangerous water far below.

Writings
At the end of August I travelled to Norway in a fantastic trip in the sea.
In general it was fantastic summer but I think that the camping is very boring.
In the centre of the picture there is a photo of me. I have taken a fast photo because I didn't have anything.
There are other photes in the picture. You can see that I'm interested in football, basketball and in motorbikes. And I love FC. Barcelona too.
Suddenly, I saw a small but strong tornado. We were very scared and we went to our room. The tornado lasted 15 minutes. They were the longest minutes of my live.
Afterwards, when we arrived to Fontcoberta, we explained everything to our family. They said that they didn't believe that but it was true.
At our club we have got a very big bym, so you can do all the exercise that you can imagine. Or you can spend some time from our private swimming pools.
We also have very good massages, so you can relax. After one or two days at the club, people feel better and they want to return.
-The people in the village said that it wasn't the first one.
-They said the killer was a headless horseman.
-He killed his victims and he catched his heads.
-Johnny Deep discovered that one witch controled the heandless horseman with his skull.
-When the horseman kills the witch he gets his head and the village was calm again because he stopped killing people.
A FORMAL LETTER
From: Sergi
One of my friends has started acting quite strangely. She's always looking for money and she sometimes misses school. She's going out with a guy, Steve, who I don't know very well. Steve doesn't speak to me when the three of us are together and he looks at me very angrily.
I don't really know what's happening. What's your advice?
Clare
Dear Clare
If I were you, I wouldn't be too worried about this. I'm sure that this girl is growing up.
You can talk to them as calmly as possible. You must speak easily to them and tell them you are worried.
I think that the problem is that she is growing up before than you and she think that his boyfriend is more important than you in her live. Unfortunately, people are different sometimes, and you have to live with it.
Sergi
Some people go there to watch theater and sometimes films. From the outside it is a bit old building. Inside, it has got a nice decoration. The pillars are red and beautiful.
I've visited the theater seven or eight times now, and the things which I like best are the sits because they are very comfortable.
